VISTA Missions is a nonprofit, medical based, Christian organization whose goal is to provide vision and dental-based services to underserved communities primarily in Mexico and Latin America. VISTA's leadership is composed of vision and dental professionals as well as members with many years of mission experience outside the United States. VISTA provides dental and vision services at the request of churches in Latin America. VISTA volunteer teams partner with the church and typically spend a week in the community conducting free vision and dental clinics. VISTA has no paid employees, consequently it has minimal overhead expenses. VISTA is solely reliant upon donations to continue it’s medical programs and purchase needed vision/dental equipment and supplies. VISTA has an urgent need to identify groups or individuals who would be willing to transport small quantities of used glasses to Mazatlan, Mexico. The glasses are desperately needed by the Christian church in Mazatlan for use in vision clinics in the outlying communities.
